Odakoo's guides and blog posts are written to give students advice that actually works. This page explains who writes them, how, and how we keep them current.

Who writes the content?
Posts are written by the Odakoo Editorial Team, the people who build Odakoo and use it every day. We try the study methods we describe in our own routines first, and we don't write about what didn't work.
Which sources do we use?
Official facts such as exam dates, scoring and registration rules come only from official sources, and we link to them in the post.
When a claim rests on a scientific study, we link to the study itself. We never present a single study as a rule that holds for everyone.
The limits of our advice
Our suggestions are general study advice, not medical, psychological or legal advice. For attention difficulties, sleep problems or exam anxiety, we recommend talking to a professional.
How we keep content up to date
When an exam schedule changes or information goes out of date, we update the post. Every post shows its publication date and, if it changed, its last update.
If two posts end up covering the same topic, we merge them into one more complete post and redirect the old address to it.
When we mention Odakoo
Posts are published on Odakoo's own site and link to Odakoo's features where relevant. We explain a method because it works, not to sell Odakoo, and we're happy to say when another tool does the same job.
Focus Report data
The monthly Focus Report is computed from aggregate, anonymous data only. Automated accounts are excluded and no person or room is shown individually. The method is described under every report.
